With a mission to “preserve and promote the culture and customs of our land of origin”, the Basilicata Cultural Society seeks to reach individuals who are descendants of the region by holding events and making periodic communications about the region and the Lucani people.

Since its inception, the Society has been the beneficiary of great support by members and friends and now we are looking to you to join us too. Please consider the value of preserving the history, culture, and traditions of Basilicata. Perhaps, more importantly reflect on the impact of exposing your family to the unique heritage of the region and its people.

Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the objectives of the Basilicata Cultural Society.  The cost of the annual membership  in the Basilicata Cultural Society of Canada is currently:

• $125 per family, including dependent children
• $75 for a single member

To join the Basilicata Cultural Society of Canada, please download the PDF Membership Application, complete it and deliver/mail it with the appropriate membership fee to the Society. On approval, you will receive a membership Certificate and Membership Card.
